Artur P. DurajskiDoctor of Physical Sciences, Associate Professor

Artur Durajski is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Physics, Czestochowa University of Technology. In 2011 he received an M.Sc. Eng. degree in Physics from the Czestochowa University of Technology. In 2014 he obtained a Ph.D. degree (cum maxima laude) in Theoretical Physics at the University of Zielona Gora. Both his master's and doctoral thesis were distinguished by the Polish Physical Society. In 2018 he received habilitation in Physical and Natural Sciences at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. His research interests are concentrated on phonon-mediated hydrogen-rich and graphene-like 2D superconductors, pairing mechanism in cuprates and first-principles calculations. For his work, he was awarded the scholarship START from the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) and the scholarship for Outstanding Young Scientists from the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education. He is also a recipient of a prestigious Grant SONATA for the years 2017-2020 from the National Science Centre (NCN).
